Redding
Writing Club

Every month, fiction writers in
the Redding area of northern
California meet to discuss their
current projects and trade
critiques.

Locations vary, as we all enjoy supporting our local coffee and tea shops.

Each month, we have a different theme or prompt, but the guidelines stay (mostly) the same:
1. The goal word count for each month is approximately 3,000 words. This is a target range so that everyone will finish editing around the same time.
2. The prompts are ideas. If you don't like it, write something else. The goal is to write. That's it.
3. It's easier to edit when it's printed out. So please bring a printed copy of your short story (and a pen to edit!) when you come.

We meet once a month, on the second Saturday of each month. Contact us to stay up-to-date and let us know if you're interested in attending.

Next meet-up:
February 11 at 1 p.m.

When Pie Meets Bread
1768 Churn Creek Rd
Redding, CA

February prompt:

Falling out (or into) love
