Growing as an author is difficult to do alone.

 

That's why we have The Forge. It's our collection of authors, assembled for the sole purpose of using each other's skills to help everyone grow. We believe that everyone, from the first-time writer to the multiple bestselling author, has something to offer, and something to teach.

The name of the group actually originates from Proverbs 27:17. Though we have many kinds of faiths in the group, the wisdom of the verse remains the same: we're all iron, and we all help those around us sharpen our skills.

The Forge is represented by authors around the globe, started right in the roots of northern California. We help each other grow by offering beta reading, developmental editing, and feedback on all kinds of writing.
